Daily Bread

"Our Father...Give us this day our daily bread..." (Matt: 9,11)

Jesus taught us to ask for our daily bread. No one needs to be told that they need to eat, because food is essential to life. We are so diligent to feed our bodies, are we as diligent in feeding our Spirit? Jesus said,

"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." (John 6:63).

Let us eat from the word of God daily. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105).

Word of the Day

Word of the Day was created as a forum for devotional writing, an outworking of what God has been working in-to my life. I pray that it will inspire your walk with God and bring you closer to Jesus Christ. I originally named it Daily Bread, but have opted not to use that name to avoid confusion with the already existing Daily Bread by RBC Ministries. May the Lord bless them and their faithful teaching of His Word!
