Kicking against the pricks?

It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. (Acts 26:14 )

Have you been kicking against the pricks? Have you been kicking against and resisting the prodding of God? Jesus says, "Rise, and stand upon thy feet" (Acts 26:16). He has a purpose and vision for you and wants to rouse you to action. Respond to him as Saul did on the road to Damascus, "Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?" Ask God to help you, "for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure..." (Phil. 2:13; NKJV), so that you may be obedient to the heavenly vision (Acts 26:19).
