Praise of God

"For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God." (John 12:43)

Do you face difficult choices? Often, our nature is to be swayed by what other people think. Not only in our teens but throughout our whole life we are pressured to make choices that please other people. Let us stand firm and follow God's will and seek his praise, rather than any other.

"I delight to do Your will, O my God, Your law is within my heart." (Psalm 40:8 NASB)

Where Your Treasure Is...

"...Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:21)

Where is your treasure? Where are you spending your time? Your money? One thing is sure in this life- our life will come to an end, and we will enter our eternal destiny in heaven or hell. Are we working for treasure that will perish or treasure that will live for eternity? "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it." (Matthew 10:39)

"Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4 NIV)
